Lots of visitors!

Although we're not exactly sure why, we've had a lot of visitors to our adoption website recently. We have link to our website from several other sites, but those have been there for sometime, so we can't track the increase in visits back to anyone particular place. We wouldn't be at all surprised if our good friend Bridget has started some sort of online campaign for us. She's been great (we posted about her some time ago) and continues to be one of our biggest supporters. It's great to know that our name and website is getting out there. We've been flooded with good wishes, and even a few college students have asked us for interviews so for papers, etc. This is a great sign! I guess it goes without saying that the more people we have looking at our website and learning about us, the more likely that the "our" birthmother will find us.

Thank you to everyone whose taking the time to read our blog, spread the word of our adoption hopes, or just sharing your kind thoughts!

I saw your ad on Facebook and that is what brought me in to the site. I wish you the best of luck - any child would be blessed to have such dedicated and loving parents!

You may want to try adding Google Analytics to your site - it's free, and will help you see what sites were referrers to your site, so you can see where most of the traffic is coming from. http://www.google.com/analytics/

Good luck! Hope you find your child soon to begin that chapter of your journey.

I just wanted to say that you seems like two wonderful men who are going to be amazing parents. As of now, I don't know anyone who might be willing to enter into an open adoption with you, but I wish you nothing but the best. If I have to make the difficult decision to give my child up for adoption, I would hope to find people like you and a loving home like yours

Since I don't have any great advice (or a baby) for you, I thought I would just give you encouragement. I saw your ad on Facebook tonight and I just thought it was interesting. I'm sure you will have a house filled with dirty diapers and late night bottle feedings before you know it...

Wishing you love and prayers from California!

i also saw your ad on facebook and was interested. what struck me most about your page and your blog is your reaction to losing the other 2 babies you were matched with. i knew a couple who was matched up until birth and then the birth-parents decided to keep the baby too. i can't even imagine how that would feel. however, unlike you two, they reacted completely maliciously towards the birth-parents. though i can understand it being indescribably hard, it just amazed me to read how gracious you two were, even the second time it happened to you. you truly want the best for these children and that really impacted me. i wish you all the best. the perfect baby for you two will come your way before you know it and he/she will be so lucky!! have a blessed and happy journey!!

This is my first time leaving comments on a blog. What brought me to yours...??! Well, Facebook had an ad of your blog and I felt a sudden urge to read it and boy, am I glad I did. I have a feeling that both of you will be wonderful parents. I sense an aura (no-I am not pyshic) of calmness and I know that sooner rather than later, your prince/princess will be snugly tucked up within the comforts of your arm.

I am eagerly waiting for that day for you. I will be rooting for you.

I also saw your add in facebook! It was quite shocking for me, cos I am from Spain and here its ilegal to give into adoption your baby, they think they it is abandonment ...I kinda understand it, but if a mother cant take care of the baby i cant imagine a better option than give it to a loving couple like you two!

A Couple of years ago they changed the law in Spain and now gay couples can marrige and adopt. There were some people complaining, but couples like you prove that you can really make a really nice home for a baby! And that there are many kinds of families and all of them are as good! I have always wanted to be a mom, ever since i remember, so I can understand that need that comes from nature!

I will pray for you to find your baby as soon as posible!

Dont give up! There is a reason why you havent found it yet!

All the best from old europe!

Looks like Facebook has really helped drive people to your site- I found you through it, too. I use Google analytics and can also reccomend it.

Yours is one of the two or three "blogs of perfect strangers" that I read on a regular basis. The two of you sound amazing, and you've got someone in Indiana rooting for you!

Facebook's targeted advertising is usually pretty off-the-wall, but your ad definitely gets a thumbs-up for "interesting!" Unfortunately, not precisely relevant to me, as -- while I hope to adopt children down the line -- I don't know of anyone ready to work with you in open adoption.

You two seem to have a wonderful extended support system and a strong family dream. I wish you all the best and hope that you find a match soon!
